Bürgerablage, Public beach and bathing site at Havel River in Spandau, Germany

Bürgerablage is a public bathing site on the Havel River in the Berlin district of Spandau, with a sandy beach and marked swimming areas. On site there are changing rooms, restrooms, and a kiosk selling snacks and drinks.

The site grew into a leisure spot in the early decades of the 20th century, when Berlin residents sought simple bathing options away from the city center. It has remained in continuous use for recreation since then.

The name "Bürgerablage" refers to an old landing place once used by townspeople, long before it became a bathing spot. Today it is mostly a local gathering point where families from Spandau come to sit by the water and spend the day together.

The bathing site lies at the Brandenburg border and is reached from the land side via Niederneuendorfer Allee. The Havelradweg, part of the Berlin–Copenhagen long-distance cycle route, runs directly past the sandy beach. A DLRG Berlin water rescue station stands on the right side of the beach right by the water, and the Jagdhaus an der Bürgerablage restaurant sits just above the beach.

The site lies at the border with Brandenburg, reachable from the land side via Niederneuendorfer Allee. The Havelradweg, part of the Berlin–Copenhagen long-distance cycle route, runs directly past the beach. A DLRG Berlin water rescue station stands on the right side of the sandy beach, right by the water.
