Tegelort

Tegelort is a residential district on a peninsula between the Havel River and Lake Tegel, featuring tree-lined streets and residential buildings. The area sits at about 31 meters (102 feet) elevation and is surrounded by water on two sides, creating a distinctive setting.

The area transformed from agricultural land into a villa suburb around 1896, marking a major shift in the northern Berlin district's development. This conversion happened as part of Berlin's outward expansion during that period.
