Bürohaus an der Alten Oper

The office building at Old Opera is a 20-story high-rise in Frankfurt's financial district, rising at the corner of Neue Mainzer Straße and Junghofstraße. Its glass and metal facade creates a clean, contemporary look that defines the urban landscape.

Construction began in 1981 and finished in 1984, designed by a team of German architects including Hubertus von Allwörden. A major renovation in 2015 updated the interior and secured the building for decades to come.

The building sits next to the Old Opera House and creates a visual link between Frankfurt's financial core and its arts venues. Visitors notice this spatial relationship when walking through the surrounding streets.
