Drostenhof Wolbeck, Renaissance architectural monument in Wolbeck, Münster, Germany
The two-story brick manor features a gabled entrance from 1545, with a pointed arch entrance and a slender tower on the facade.
The Drostenhof became property of the von Merveldt family in 1389, who maintained their role as Drosten administrators for multiple generations.
From 1975 to 2012, this Renaissance structure housed the West Prussian State Museum, serving as a center for regional heritage preservation.
While the Drostenhof remains a private residence, visitors can observe its architectural details and stair gables from the surrounding public areas.
Two ground-floor rooms contain preserved sections of a 17th-century stucco ceiling depicting mythological themes and period hunting scenes.
