Fatih-Moschee

The Fatih-Moschee is a house of worship for the Islamic community in Pforzheim, featuring a 25-meter minaret and a 12-meter dome. The building contains a main prayer hall, a library, a youth room, a cafeteria, and a grocery store alongside its religious spaces.

The foundation stone was laid in March 1990 and the building was completed in September 1992. This establishment marked an important moment for the growth of Islamic facilities in the city.

The mosque bears the name of a significant Ottoman sultan and functions as a central gathering place for the Turkish-Islamic community to worship and participate in educational activities. Visitors can observe members meeting for regular prayers and community events throughout the week.

The prayer hall is illuminated by a large crystal chandelier adorned with 20,000 stones, creating a distinctive visual effect. Underfloor heating throughout the entire prayer area ensures comfort during extended prayer sessions.
