Gempthalle

The Gempthalle is a cultural center in Lengerich's downtown area with three connected halls and additional spaces including a seminar room, foyer, and bistro area. The facility can hold up to 1000 people and offers flexible arrangements for various types of events.

The building was constructed in 1917 as a wire rope manufacturing facility and converted into a cultural center in 2004 following major renovations. This transformation was part of a regional development initiative.

The center hosts concerts, theater performances, and exhibitions that shape the cultural life of the town. Visitors experience a diverse range of artistic activities involving both local and regional creators.

The center is easy to reach and situated near the A1 highway with dedicated parking spaces available on-site. Visitors should note that room configurations vary depending on the event type, allowing flexible seating arrangements.

A 60-meter industrial chimney from 1919 with an integrated water cooling tank stands on the grounds as a protected historical monument. This remnant of the former factory operations tells the story of the site's industrial past.
