Westerbecker Berg, Summit in Lienen, Germany

Westerbecker Berg is a summit in the Teutoburg Forest standing at 236 meters with forested slopes and natural rock outcrops visible throughout. Multiple maintained forest paths create a network connecting different areas of the hill.

The Hermannsweg long-distance trail runs over the Westerbecker Berg along the crest of the Teutoburg Forest from Rheine to Velmerstot in the Egge. Quarries on the hillsides recall the former limestone extraction here. A cableway, the Hüggelbahn, carried limestone to the Georgsmarienhütte works, where it was used as aggregate limestone.
