Herz-Jesu-Kirche

The Herz-Jesu-Kirche is a Neo-Gothic church built from red brick with stone decorations and a 34-meter-tall tower that shapes the town's skyline. The building combines traditional Gothic forms with crafted details typical of the late 1800s.

The church was built in 1894 when the Catholic community re-established itself in the town after centuries of Protestant influence in the region. Its construction reflects the return of Catholic faith during the industrial era.
