Holzkapelle Ralswiek, Lutheran chapel in Ralswiek, Germany
The wooden chapel features red-painted walls with white trim borders and window frames, following traditional Swedish architectural design patterns.
In 1907, Count Douglas purchased this chapel from an exhibition in Stockholm, transported it across the Baltic Sea, and reconstructed it in Ralswiek.
The chapel serves the local evangelical Lutheran community with regular services and functions as a central gathering place for religious ceremonies.
Located at Dorfstrasse 56 in Ralswiek, the chapel maintains regular opening hours and hosts organ concerts throughout the year.
The entrance of the chapel displays the German inscription 'Die Liebe höret nimmer auf', meaning 'Love never ends'.
