Hoher Schaden, Mountain summit in Eitorf, Germany.

The Hoher Schaden rises to 388 meters above sea level in the Leuscheid forest area, forming the highest elevation point in the Eitorf municipality.

In 1867, a wooden observation tower with three levels, each measuring ten feet in height, was constructed at the summit of Hoher Schaden.

The mountain serves as a water source, with the Friedrich springs giving birth to multiple streams including Dickersbach, Sehlenbach, and Altebach.

Multiple hiking routes lead to the summit, including a 5.87-kilometer trail from Rodder to Mooshutte with an elevation gain of 190 meters.

Two major stream systems originate from Hoher Schaden: the Wohmbach flows into Eipbach near Obereiper Mill, while Muhlenbach meets the Sieg River near Stromberg.
