Landschaftspark Hohenstein, Landscape park in Barkelsby, Germany

Located on the northern steep bank of Eckernförde Bay, Landschaftspark Hohenstein extends across the municipality of Barkelsby in Schleswig-Holstein.

The estate received noble status in 1802, marked by the construction of a classical manor house for Johann Diederich Cordes during celebration ceremonies.

The park underwent renovation after Harriet Milberg's marriage to Adolph Godeffroy in 1879, resulting in new landscape designs completed by 1883.

The protected heritage site contains several ponds forming a lake landscape in its eastern section, with paths connecting different areas of the grounds.

A hexagonal tower added during the neo-gothic expansion of the manor house provides views extending to the Baltic Sea.
