Duvenstedter Brook

Duvenstedter Brook is a nature reserve in northern Hamburg comprising wetlands, open meadows, and wooded sections. The landscape contains distinct habitat types that support different plant and animal communities across the site.

Official protection status was granted to this area in 1958, marking the beginning of organized conservation efforts. This early designation reflects long-standing recognition of its ecological value.
