WOK – World of Kitchen, Kitchen history museum in Hanover, Germany.
The World of Kitchen Museum spans 1400 square meters, presenting kitchen designs, tools, and appliances from medieval times through the contemporary period.
The museum opened in April 2010 as Europe's first large-scale kitchen museum, incorporating a collection of 8000 cookbooks in its educational library.
The facility includes rotating exhibitions of national kitchen traditions, displaying culinary equipment and practices from different countries and continents.
Visitors can join guided tours at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, and 17:00 from Tuesday to Saturday, with adult tickets priced at 14.50 euros.
The museum features a teaching kitchen where children and teenagers participate in educational programs about food preparation and nutritional knowledge.
