Miniaturenpark Kleiner Harz, Miniature park in Wernigerode, Germany.
Miniaturenpark Kleiner Harz displays about 60 detailed models of regional buildings at 1:25 scale within a landscaped garden setting. The site features small trees, pathways, and water features that wind through the grounds and connect the various models together.
The park opened in 2009 after a 12-year construction period, during which craftspeople from the Oskar-Kämmer school created the models. This extended development time allowed each model to be crafted with great care and historical precision.
The park displays replicas of important regional buildings such as Wernigerode Castle and Halberstadt Cathedral. These models help visitors understand the architectural diversity of the Harz region at a glance.
The park is open from April through November, giving visitors plenty of time to explore all the models at a leisurely pace. The pathways are well maintained and lead throughout the site, making all areas easy to reach.
A working miniature railway system runs through the park on about 400 meters of track between the models. The small train stops at a detailed replica of Wernigerode's historic Westerntor train station.
