St.-Jakobus-Münster, Gothic Revival church in Titisee-Neustadt, Germany.

St.-Jakobus-Münster is a Gothic Revival church with a 68-meter tower made of red sandstone and stained-glass windows designed in late Gothic style from 1904. The tower rises prominently above the town, and the windows fill the interior with colored light.

Three earlier churches stood on this site from 1275 onward, and construction of the current building began in 1897 with its consecration in 1907. The new structure replaced what had come before and represented a shift toward modern building methods of that era.

The interior displays three carved altars created between 1903 and 1911, showing how craftspeople of that era worked with religious imagery. These pieces shape how visitors experience the space and reflect the artistic choices of early 20th-century makers.

The church remains open to visitors year-round, with guided tours available that explain its architectural details and artistic elements. Tours help visitors understand the stained glass and carved altars more fully.

Construction workers labored through the night to complete the roof framework by 1900, revealing how urgent this project was for the town. Such intensive effort was unusual for church building at that time.
