Lampertsstein

Lampertsstein is a mountain summit in Saxon Switzerland reaching 440 meters high, with stone steps and wooden ladders connecting multiple viewing platforms. The ascent takes roughly one hour and offers several spots to rest and take photographs.

The mountain takes its name from a former landowner who held property in the area. Today it sits within the protected Saxon Switzerland region, which safeguards this landscape.

The summit draws nature lovers who come to photograph the views of Königstein Fortress and surrounding countryside. Visitors gather here to experience the open sightlines across the landscape.

The ascent follows marked trails with green dots and red stripes, beginning from a free parking area near the village of Erbgericht. Sturdy footwear is essential due to the ladder sections and stone steps along the route.

A specialized wooden ladder structure was built to help dogs climb alongside their owners during the ascent. This unusual feature makes it easier for dog owners to bring their pets safely to the top.
