Landesfeuerwehrschule Schleswig-Holstein

The Schleswig-Holstein State Fire School is a training facility with two locations in Harrislee, where crews and emergency personnel receive instruction. The school was founded in 1936 as the Provincial Fire School and halted operations during World War II. After the war, it relocated to Eckernförde before moving back to Harrislee in 1954, where it has remained since.
