Mineralogisches Museum der Universität Bonn, Mineralogical museum at Poppelsdorfer Schloss, Germany.

The Mineralogisches Museum exhibits 6,000 specimens across four halls, featuring minerals, meteorites, ores, and gemstones in systematic arrangements.

The museum began its collection in 1874 with acquisitions from Adam August Krantz's private assortment, forming the foundation of academic studies.

The museum contributes to geological education through guided tours, exhibitions, and academic research within the University of Bonn's Institute of Geosciences.

Visitors can explore the museum on Wednesdays and Fridays between 15:00 and 18:00, and Sundays from 10:00 to 17:00, with limited wheelchair access.

The museum houses the world's largest tiger's eye gemstone, weighing approximately 150 kilograms, alongside rare meteorite specimens from North Rhine-Westphalia.
