Revierpark Mattlerbusch

The Revierpark Mattlerbusch is an urban park in Duisburg featuring winding paths, ponds, and multiple sports facilities spread across large grounds. The site includes children's play areas, community garden spaces, and a thermal bath complex alongside open green areas.

The park was established in 1979, marking the completion of five regional parks across the Ruhr industrial region. It developed around the existing Mattlerhof, a historical farm that was preserved as part of the planning.

The historic Mattlerhof building now houses a restaurant with its own brewery, keeping traditional German dining customs alive within the park grounds.

The park is easily accessible on foot with multiple entry points from different directions. Sturdy footwear is recommended since paths wind through various terrain and can become muddy after rain.

The grounds feature flowering meadows designed specifically to support local bird and insect life, allowing visitors to observe wildflowers and wildlife up close. These ecological zones provide a quieter contrast to the busier areas of the park.
