Reichsbahndirektion Schwerin

The Reichsbahndirektion Schwerin is an administrative building at Zum Bahnhof 15/17 featuring an elaborate facade and numerous office spaces across multiple floors. The structure includes an extensive underground level with a bunker that reaches deep beneath the main building.

Construction of the railway administration building began in 1898 and it developed into a central hub for managing the German railway system. The building maintained this role until 1996 when operational conditions fundamentally changed.
