Schloss Lehrensteinsfeld

The château spans 41 meters in length with a 15-meter width, featuring a walled courtyard surrounded by agricultural buildings and a square tower.

Built in the late 16th century by the von Gemmingen family, the château underwent classical modifications in the late 18th century while preserving Renaissance elements.

The Dietzsch family acquired the property in 1865 and established modern fruit cultivation techniques, earning recognition from the Agricultural College Hohenheim.

The château houses a winery covering 6 hectares of vineyards, producing Riesling, Spätburgunder, and Lemberger wines in ancient vaulted cellars.

The entire structure rests upon a barrel-vaulted cellar, accessible through a neck entrance in the western gable of the building.
