Schloss Möckern, Cultural heritage château in Möckern, Germany.
The castle stands east of the marketplace near the town center, featuring a pentagonal stone tower with baroque-vaulted dome and English Gothic architecture.
Originally established as a Slavic water fortress in the 10th century, the castle underwent major reconstruction between 1710 and 1715 under Christian Wilhelm von Münchhausen.
The castle grounds include an eleven-hectare English landscape park designed with input from architect Baron von Erdmannsdorff and garden artist Peter Lenné.
The castle building now serves as a school facility following a restoration project in 1991 that cost 3.2 million Deutsche Mark.
The pentagonal tower measures 11 meters by 11 meters with an entrance positioned nine meters above ground level, spanning five floors.
