Skulpturenpark Katzow

Skulpturenpark Katzow is a sculpture garden in a rural village in Brandenburg with more than 100 artworks displayed across about 20 hectares. The pieces, mostly made of steel and wood, reach heights of up to 18 meters and shape the landscape with abstract and figurative forms.

The park was founded in 1991 by Thomas Radeloff, who initially placed just three figures on a meadow. This modest beginning evolved over decades into an extensive collection of artworks that continues to grow.

The art barn, converted from a historic farm building, hosts rotating exhibitions throughout the year that complement the outdoor works. Inside, visitors encounter contemporary art displayed in a gallery setting that contrasts with the open-air sculptures outside.

The park is open year-round and free to visit, making it an accessible destination for all. Visitors should wear appropriate footwear since paths wind through varied terrain and open fields.

A sound funnel installation positioned above a pond works as an acoustic artwork and meditation space within the natural setting. Visitors can sit there and experience how water and sound interact.
