Stechinelli-Haus, Heritage building at Altstadtmarkt, Brunswick, Germany
The Stechinelli-Haus spans three stories with a five-window bay facing the market square and features stone construction with decorated portals.
Francesco Maria Capellini constructed this building in 1690 after gaining wealth and status as General Postmaster for the Duke of Celle.
The entrance displays symbolic elements, including a boy holding a hat representing Stechinelli and a lion marking the construction year.
The ground floor, modernized in 1908, contains retail spaces accessible to visitors exploring the historic district of Brunswick.
The building incorporates alternating rose motifs and hat designs above its windows, creating a distinctive architectural pattern.
