Way of Human Rights, Memorial sculpture in central Nuremberg, Germany

The Way of Human Rights forms a walkable path with twenty-seven white concrete columns, displaying articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Designed by Israeli artist Dani Karavan, this installation opened on October 24, 1993, as part of Nuremberg's commitment to remembering World War II events.

The articles inscribed on each column appear in thirty different languages, including Yiddish, Quechua, and multiple European, African, and Asian languages.

Located next to the Germanisches Nationalmuseum entrance, the installation provides educational resources about human rights through guided tours and programs.

Every two years, the site connects with the Nuremberg International Human Rights Award ceremony, gathering thousands for a Lunch for Peace event.
