Theater tri-bühne, Theater venue in Stuttgart, Germany
Theater tri-bühne is a theater venue in Stuttgart with two performance spaces: the first stage accommodates 154 spectators while the second provides seating for 109 attendees. The two spaces allow the house to stage multiple productions simultaneously and serve different audience sizes.
The theater was founded in 1975 by Michael and Edith Koerber and initially performed at Forumtheater before establishing its permanent home at Tagblatt-Turm-Areal in 1979. This move marked the beginning of its development into an independent cultural venue in Stuttgart.
The theater presents a wide range of tragedies, comedies, classical works, and modern plays that bring different stories and perspectives to life on stage. Visitors can experience various forms of theater here, from traditional drama to experimental productions that explore new artistic directions.
The theater bar opens one hour before performances, during intermission, and after shows. It is located at Eberhardstrasse 61A, making it easily accessible in the same building.
Every two years the theater hosts the Stuttgarter Europa Theater Treffen, bringing together international theater groups. This festival showcases performances from various European ensembles and fosters new artistic collaborations.
