The Wieland Museum contains three main sections: an archive of 15,500 books, a garden house, and an exhibition room displaying literary artifacts.
Founded in 1905 by the Biberach Art and Antiquities Association, the museum opened in 1907 in the garden house where poet Christoph Martin Wieland resided.
The museum preserves manuscripts, letters, and personal items of Christoph Martin Wieland, a central figure in 18th-century German literature.
Located at Saudengasse 10/1, the museum welcomes visitors from April to November, Wednesday through Sunday, between 2 PM and 5 PM.
The archive maintains a reconstruction of Wieland's private library and houses special collections focusing on Sophie von La Roche and Justin Heinrich Knecht.
