Wasserturm

The water tower stands 52 meters tall with a two-layered masonry structure and features decorative windows along its shaft and a copper-covered roof.

Built between 1906 and 1909, this second municipal water tower in Mannheim operated until 1976 and maintained constant water pressure for the city network.

The tower incorporates Romanesque revival elements in its architecture, with two school buildings added between 1912 and 1914 following designs by Richard Perrey.

The water reservoir, positioned 38.85 meters above ground level, contained 2000 cubic meters of water to regulate pressure throughout the distribution network.

The entrance features an original wooden door with Art Nouveau green glass panels and ornate ironwork decorations, preserved within the current school building.
