Alte Feuerwache

The Alte Feuerwache is a 42-meter-tall baroque revival building that now serves as an arts centre with theatre spaces, workshops, and rehearsal areas. Under one roof it combines performance venues, studios, a radio station, and residential spaces for artists.

The building was constructed in 1912 as a fire station and served that function until it closed in 1975. After that transition, it gradually developed into a cultural hub that helped revitalize the Neckarstadt-Ost neighbourhood.
