Alabama-Halle, Former military depot in Am Hart, Munich, Germany.
The Alabama-Halle occupied a large three-section storage building between Schleißheimer Straße and Knorrstraße, near the Eisenbahn-Nordring railway line.
Originally built in 1935 as Wehrmacht storage, the facility became a US Army depot after World War II, named after the state of Alabama.
From 1981 to 1988, the building transformed into a concert venue hosting performances by international artists including King Crimson, Dio, and R.E.M.
The venue accommodated 1000 people with admission prices ranging from 10 to 30 Deutsche Mark for regular concert events.
Bayerisches Fernsehen produced a weekly television program called Live aus dem Alabama, broadcasting concerts and discussions for young audiences.
