Klink Castle, Neo-Renaissance château in Klink, Germany.
Klink Castle is a Neo-Renaissance manor house situated on a peninsula between the Müritz and Kölpinsee lakes. The building incorporates design elements inspired by French Loire Valley châteaux and now functions as a hotel with rooms spread across the main structure and an attached Orangery wing.
Arthur von Schnitzler commissioned the castle in 1897, with Berlin architects Grisebach and Dinklage overseeing its construction. The structure survived the turbulent decades of the 20th century and has remained in the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern region since its completion.
The surrounding area takes its name from the nearby village of Klink, which shapes the local character of the region. The place blends rural traditions with the sophistication of a grand house that draws visitors across generations.
The castle is now part of a large hotel resort and welcomes both day visitors and overnight guests easily. Its location between two lakes offers many opportunities for outdoor activities in the surrounding area.
The castle houses a generous wellness area featuring a panoramic swimming pool from which visitors can gaze across the expansive Müritz lake. This pool merges relaxation with views of the natural landscape, making it a defining feature of the hotel.
