Schloss Köngen

Schloss Köngen is a stone castle containing several preserved areas: a large hall named the Rittersaal, a chapel, a cellar, and an inner courtyard. These rooms allow visitors to experience the interior layout throughout the year.

The castle originates from medieval times when it was first built as a fortified structure. Over centuries it underwent various transformations and modifications that shaped the building into its present form.

The castle serves today as a venue for celebrations and gatherings in its historic rooms. This active use keeps the space connected to people's lives and brings contemporary energy to the old walls.

Visiting requires an escort from the caretaker, who is available Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Friday availability ends at noon, so visitors should plan their timing accordingly.

The castle can be rented for private events and includes premium banquet furnishings as part of the rental. Clients have the flexibility to choose their own preferred catering provider for the occasion.
