Unteres Schloss, Manor house in Beilstein, Germany
The Unteres Schloss sits between the town center and Hohenbeilstein Castle, featuring arcade walkways, a columned knights' hall, and half-timbered corner turrets.
Built on the foundations of a 16th-century administrative court, the current building was constructed between 1906 and 1908 by industrialist Robert Vollmöller following architect Albert Benz's plans.
The manor serves as the House of Children's Church since 1957, belonging to the Protestant Church of Württemberg, which acquired the property in 1959.
The building functions as a conference venue for church and social education programs, with facilities available for weddings and corporate events.
The manor's construction caused local resistance, leading to an arson attack on reconstructed parts of the nearby castle owned by the same industrialist.
