Hindenburg-Kaserne, Cultural heritage monument and office building in Magdeburg, Germany
The Hindenburg-Kaserne complex contains multiple structures arranged around a central training area, including workshops, garages, and personnel quarters with sandstone facades.
Built between 1936 and 1939 under architect Heinrich Tessenow's direction, the barracks initially housed the 1st Battalion of Infantry Regiment No. 66.
The entrance of the guard house features oak leaf carvings by artist Gustav Seitz, while the complex represents a monumental Heimat architectural style.
The former military installation now serves as administrative offices, housing the Magdeburg tax office and Elbauenpark management among other governmental departments.
The complex includes a large square with a Hindenburg memorial at its center and four three-story row houses positioned along the southern section.
