St. Michael und St. Sebastian, Parish church in Bernkastel-Kues, Germany.

St. Michael and St. Sebastian is a parish church in Bernkastel-Kues featuring a three-nave layout with a central aisle flanked by two side aisles. The tower rises 56 meters (184 feet) tall and ends with an octagonal spire.

The tower was built in 1291 as part of the town's defensive walls, then later incorporated into the church building. This transformation reflects how the city adapted its fortifications into religious structures as it grew.

Inside, the church holds five bells, including the historic Evangelist's Bell, alongside Gothic stone carvings and stained glass windows from 1914. These artworks shape the interior space and show the craftsmanship that developed over many generations.

The church sits near the Moselle River and is easy to reach for both visitors and worshippers. It helps to check regular opening hours in advance to ensure access to the interior.

This building is one of the few fully preserved Gothic structures from the 14th century in the entire Moselle region. Its survival of original late Gothic elements makes it a rare example from that era.
