Kanzlers Weide is an open space in Minden combining generous green areas with designated zones for outdoor activities and events. The location features level pathways and sections adapted for different uses depending on the season.

Named after Brandenburg-Prussian chancellor Wilhelm Heinrich Danckelmann, who bought the former town pasture from Minden on 29 March 1691; after his death in 1752 the land returned to the city but kept his name. The first citizens' marksmen's festival took place here in 1841, while Minden was still a fortress, dissolved only in 1872. A river bathing establishment operated from 1851 to 1862, and from 1913 to 1930 a changing and refreshment building stood on the site.
