Glacisbrücke Minden, Suspension footbridge in Minden, Germany

The Glacisbrücke spans 177 meters over the Weser River with two 22-meter-high steel tube masts supporting the pedestrian crossing structure.

The bridge was designed by civil engineer Jörg Schlaich and opened in 1995 to connect Minden's city center with the parking area at Kanzlers Weide.

The structure became part of Minden's city logo during the 1200th anniversary celebrations in 1998, representing the city's modern infrastructure.

The bridge deck measures 3.50 meters in width and includes safety railings of 1.30 meters, accommodating both pedestrians and cyclists crossing the Weser.

The southern section features blue illumination at night, forming part of a continuous light path through the city of Minden.
