Mühlenmuseum Hiesfeld, Mill museum in Dinslaken, Germany
The Hiesfeld Mill Museum contains a tower windmill from 1822 and a water mill displaying traditional grain processing techniques and equipment.
The water mill's connection to the Haus Hiesfeld estate dates back to the 14th century, serving local farmers until operations ceased in 1924.
The museum exhibits more than 60 detailed dioramas representing various types of mills, including wind, water, and ship mills from different regions.
Visitors can explore the museum every Sunday between 10:00 and 12:30, while the windmill opens on the first Saturday of each month from May to September.
The museum complex includes a small baking house in the mill yard where traditional bread preparation occurs during special events.
