Haus Broich, Noble estate in Spich, Troisdorf, Germany

Haus Broich is a two-winged manor house at Burgstraße 17, built in the Late Renaissance style around 1620–1623 for Augustin von Wolffen. Its tall, narrow four-storey main house has curved Renaissance gables, a steep roof and wall anchors; a lower two-storey side wing joins it at right angles. The outer gable bears the alliance coat of arms 'Wolff - Verken. Anno 1623'.

A late medieval moated castle of the Lords of Broich zu Spich, documented from the 12th century, passed to the Barons of Wolffen, who held it from 1522 to 1742. Around 1620–1623 Augustin von Wolffen rebuilt the manor house in Late Renaissance style; only the high cross-vaulted cellar, probably from the late 14th century, survives of the earlier castle. From 1622 to 1693 a travelling preacher held Reformed services here, and in 1971 the city of Troisdorf bought the estate, using it as a youth centre from 1975 to 1988.

The name Broich comes from a word for marshy ground. From 1622 to 1693 a travelling preacher held Reformed services in the house; Augustin von Wolffen was Lutheran and his wife Cäcilia von Verken Calvinist. Their daughter Anna married Abraham Loison, from 1633 commander of the Swedish garrison at Siegburg, and this link is said to have spared Spich from Swedish raids during the Thirty Years' War.

Haus Broich stands at Burgstraße 17, at the corner of Waldstraße in the northwest of Spich. The S-Bahn line 12 runs from Cologne to Troisdorf, where bus line 501 continues towards Spich; the stop Spich Waldstraße is a short walk from the gate. The former moat was filled in during the 19th century, and the present park was laid out in 1980.

The building now serves as a stud farm focused on breeding and trading sport horses, blending its historical role with modern agricultural animal husbandry. This dual function as a monument and active business center is uncommon for the region.
