Schmerwitz manor

Schmerwitz manor is an estate complex in Wiesenburg/Mark composed of a main house with extensions, guest buildings, a farmyard with manager's residence, several barns, and functional stable structures. These buildings form a unified architectural ensemble that reflects the rural character of the region.

Carl Friedrich Brand von Lindau established this estate in 1736 as an agricultural property that shaped the local landscape. After 1945, the complex was converted into a political school, marking a significant shift from its original purpose.
