Palais am Funkturm, Entertainment venue in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Germany.
The Palais am Funkturm is an event venue with multiple halls and rooms in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district. The spaces feature wood paneling and can be configured flexibly for different types of gatherings.
The building was constructed between 1956 and 1957 designed by architect Bruno Grimmek. It was built directly next to the Honor Hall, which dated from the 1930s and had been reconstructed after the war.
The venue was long a center of Berlin's nightlife and event calendar, especially during West Berlin's era. Today its spaces continue to serve major social occasions and celebrations that shape the city's social life.
The main hall accommodates around 3,500 guests, while additional spaces on the first floor expand capacity for larger events. Messe Berlin manages the facility and assists with planning various types of gatherings.
The venue features a retractable staircase that lowers into the floor to create extra space for banquets and dances. This allows the room to be quickly reconfigured for different event needs.
