Wackerstein mit Höhle

Wackerstein is a limestone rock formation near Pfullingen that rises to about 825 meters elevation and features a two-part structure connected by a narrow ridge. A summit cross sits at the top, making it a recognizable point in the local landscape.

The formation originated as a reef during the Jurassic period when the region was covered by sea. Through geological processes over millions of years, this reef became the limestone structure visible today.
