Feldstraße 37–45 und Stollbergstraße 52 und 53, Residential architectural ensemble in Erfurt, Germany.

Feldstraße 37-45 and Stollbergstraße 52-53 form a residential complex with multi-story buildings that blend different architectural styles and construction methods from their building phases. The structures display four floors and varied design details that reflect the different periods when sections were completed.

Erfurt constructed this complex between 1929 and 1937 to address severe housing shortages after World War I, when private development had largely stopped. The project aimed to provide modern, affordable housing for working families during a difficult economic period.

The complex was designed with social housing principles in mind, creating affordable living spaces for workers and lower-income families of that era. The straightforward design and practical layout reflect how the buildings prioritized functionality and accessibility over decoration.

The complex can be accessed from both Feldstraße and Stollbergstraße, where the main residential streets provide good visibility of the buildings. Note that the inner courtyards and spaces between the blocks are partly private and may not be fully open for public exploration.

The northern section originally featured smaller units with shared bathroom facilities per floor, reflecting the working-class housing standards of that era. This layout reveals how everyday living conditions were arranged for lower-income residents in the 1930s.
