Rosarium Wilhelmshaven, rose garden in Neuengroden, Wilhelmshaven, Germany

The Rosarium Wilhelmshaven is a sunny garden showcasing numerous rose varieties arranged in well-maintained beds throughout the space. In addition to the open areas, a covered atrium section provides shaded spots for visitors to rest and observe the plants.

The site began as a training garden for Wilhelmshaven's municipal gardeners. In 2002 the Förderverein Rosarium e.V. was founded, and the grounds soon opened to the public. A Harzburger Hütte was built in 2004, and the Rosenhaus was completed in 2014, where weddings can be held.

The name reflects the focus on roses, which grow here in numerous varieties that change throughout the seasons. Locals regularly visit with family or friends, using the space to step away from city life and enjoy time outdoors.

The Rosarium Wilhelmshaven in Neuengroden is open from May to October. It lies next to the Botanical Garden and the Stadtpark, so the three can be visited on one walk. Weddings can be held in the Rosenhaus, completed in 2014.
