Trillkloster

Trillkloster is a Benedictine monastery in Halberstadt with traditional stone structures arranged around a central courtyard featuring vaulted cloisters. The layout reflects classic medieval monastic design with distinct areas for prayer, residence, and work.

Founded in 1229, the monastery initially received seven nuns from a neighboring convent seeking a new home. Over centuries, it relocated several times to address water shortages and security challenges facing the community.
