Goldbachsee, Lake in Waldenburg, Germany
The Goldbachsee spans 1.6 hectares with a length of 270 meters and width of 80 meters in the Schwäbisch-Fränkische forest region.
The lake was established by monks from the former Goldbach monastery for fish farming, as evidenced by historical maps of the Baden-Württemberg region.
The Hohenloher Fishing Association of Öhringen maintains the lake's fish populations and organizes regular fishing activities for local members.
The lake sits at 449.3 meters above sea level and receives water from Goldbach stream, which flows into the Bibers river system.
The Goldbachsee forms part of both a protected landscape area and the Schwäbisch-Fränkischer natural park, supporting regional conservation efforts.
