Ristedter Windmühle, Heritage windmill in Ristedt, Germany.
The white tower of this Dutch gallery windmill stands 27 meters tall on a hill, making it visible from distant points in the village.
Built in 1880 by the Wienberg family, the mill processed 300 Zentner of grain daily and received Bilau ventilators in 1931 for enhanced wind power.
Luise Wienberg made history at this mill in 1943 by becoming the second woman in Germany to obtain a master miller certification.
The mill ceased operations in 1965 and now serves as a residential building, with its wings, weather vane, and gallery removed during subsequent modifications.
The installation of the Bilau ventilator system in 1931 increased the mill's wind energy output by three times, drawing attention from across the country.
