Schloss Rodberg, Sanatorium and heritage monument in Bad Berka, Germany.

The four-story building sits within a forested area along the Ilm River, featuring multiple wings and traditional German architectural elements.

Constructed in 1911 as Schloss Gutenberg, the facility operated as a tuberculosis treatment center with open-air forest sleeping stations until 1929.

The sanatorium represents early 20th-century German medical practices, when natural therapies and fresh air treatments gained recognition in healthcare.

The structure stands empty since 2000 at Tannrodaer Straße 34, with coordinates 50.890141°N and 11.2722°E in Bad Berka.

Between 1887 and 1897, the facility maintained fourteen three-sided open huts in the forest for patients to receive air therapy treatments.
