Shai Hills Resource Reserve, Nature reserve in Shai Osudoku District, Ghana
Shai Hills Resource Reserve is a nature reserve featuring grassy plains and dry forests where numerous plant and animal species live. The landscape spans a large area with different habitats that support the wildlife found here.
British colonial forces displaced the Shai people from this area in 1892, leaving behind archaeological remains. This past is visible in the artifacts and remnants scattered throughout the reserve today.
