Ionian Village, Summer camp complex on the Ionian coast, Greece
Ionian Village is a summer camp complex on Greece's western coast with a private beach, Olympic-size swimming pool, basketball courts, and soccer fields. The facility is designed for teenage participants and provides everything needed for water sports and group activities at a seaside location.
The camp was established to give young people access to Greece's coast and cultural heritage. Its purpose was to combine education with seaside leisure and connect teenagers with their nation's history.
The camp weaves Greek Orthodox practices into daily life through regular services and celebrations that visitors experience firsthand. Young people here see how faith shapes the rhythm of time spent by the sea.
The camp operates two three-week sessions during summer months with accommodation in air-conditioned cabins. Meals are included and transportation from Athens is arranged to make arrival and departure straightforward.
Participants aged 14 to 18 take part in twelve organized excursions across Greece that extend far beyond the camp itself. These trips visit destinations like Patras, Zakynthos, Kefalonia, and Athens to show the broader country.
